St Petersburg State Technical University is certificated and recognized as one of Russia's leading institutes and you should have no difficulties in arranging transfer of credit toward a degree at your home institution, provided the proper measures are taken.
The amount of credit you can earn overseas depends on policies of your home institution, as well as what courses you take. Of course, you have to pass all the courses you take, and most institutions require that a student obtains a 'C' or better grade in each course in order to give him the credit.
Your home institution may require additional information on the courses you would like to take abroad to help estimate how much credit you can earn. You should remember that it is essential that you resolve all conflicting issues regarding accreditation with your home institution PRIOR to your departure.
